Irregular triangle-form porcelain bowl and steak plate — elegant yellow colored glaze; Wabi-Sabi organic asymmetric forms; available in 8-inch triangle plate, 10.5-inch triangle plate, and triangle meal bowl 2-piece set. By Silo Stone Home.
Elegant yellow occupies a particular tonal position in the Morandi palette and in the broader contemporary tableware vocabulary: it is not the full-chroma cadmium yellow of signal and statement, but the warm, slightly muted, considered yellow of the natural world — of aged linen, of morning light, of dried grasses. Applied here to the irregular triangle-form porcelain bowl and steak plate with a colored glaze process, it gives the tableware a warmth and botanical quality that transforms a practical dining object into a considered surface for the table. The triangle and irregular shapes are a deliberate departure from the conventional round: an organic, hand-formed quality applied to the formal rigour of the triangle, producing a form that reads as both made and designed. Works in Wabi-Sabi, Japandi, contemporary, and nature-forward dining aesthetics.
